Majaliwa Kasim Majaliwa become the Prime Minister under the 5th Phase Government

Majaliwa Kassim Majaliwa (born 22 December 1960) is a Tanzanian CCM politician and Member of Parliament for Ruangwa constituency since 2010. On the 19th of November, 2015, he was appointed by President John Magufuli to become the Prime Minister under the 5th Phase Government.^[1]
He was formerly the Deputy Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office for Regional Administration and Local Government.^[2] Prior to that, he served the government at numerous posts from being a teacher posted in Lindi in 1984 to heading Lindi as the District Commissioner from 2006 - 2010.
